Overview of the System
Philly RiverCast is a water quality forecasting platform that predicts potential contaminant and pathogen levels in the Schuylkill River between Flat Rock Dam (Manayunk) and Fairmount Dam (Boathouse Row). By combining environmental monitoring data, predictive modeling, and real-time conditions, the system provides recreational users with easy-to-understand water quality forecasts and guidance to help support safer kayaking, rowing, fishing, and other river activities.
